How to rescan torrent hash

I just finished downloading a torrent and two of the multifile .rar pieces are corrupt.

I've found a few forum threads that suggest that I rescan the hash of the torrent, delete the failed parts, and restart it.

The only trouble is I haven't a clue how to do this. I have searched throughout uTorrent and could find only FORCE START, which did not seem to do what I wanted. For I had physically deleted the two files in the download section, but the FORCE START only continued the seeding, nothing more. I have since put these files back.

Can someone please tell me how to rescan this torrent? Or must I throw it out?

If the files are corrupt, either your have some hardware problems (bad sectors, RAM etc ) or the initial seeder has created its torrent with corrupt files.

In the second case, you have to find the same torrent with the fixed files (fix/repack).
