utorrent freezes everytime i add a torrent

whenever i add a torrent to utorrent, it freezes, i don't get the not responding thing or anything, but it just stops, and when i close the window, it closes the program instead of just hiding it in the tray.

this just recently started happenings, i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple times and it keeps happening.

Do you have some iolo remains in Windows Program Manager?

Look in add/remove programs for iolo.

This is supposed to reset the chain: Start > Run > cmd /k netsh winsock reset
