d_headshot
I was downloading a torrent at approx. that speed consistantly until I changed my settings to the recommended ones in the guide. My information:PC and other Specs:-Intel Core Duo P7350 2.0GHz-4GB RAM-Vista Home Premium 64-bit-AVG antivirus-WRT45GDownloading Info:General advice configured from the guide: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992-Shaw Highspeed Internet-Wireless Connection-Recommended settings for the 800kbps range on this guide: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58404-Netmaxhalf open set to 3-Btconnect speed set to 10The average speed I got from downloading open office was around 700 kBps and maxed at 1330 kBps a couple of times. There`s at least 10 seeds in the torrent that I`m downloading so shouldn't that provide me with enough sources to help keep a fair speed at around 200 kBps? I kind of forgot how the whole thing about seeds and peers thing affects the speed so maybe I'm missing something here?

d_headshot
I just installed windows 7 and now the speeds are twice as slow. The link didn't really help much either.
GTHK
Do you mean a WRT54G? What hardware version?
rnr
One of my routers is a WRT54G, you'll need to disable the routers' firewall. See if that helps, no promises.
