Hello!

I seriously do not know what to do!

Have no firewall or antivirus installed...

Windows firewall service is disabled.

Tried clearing settings by delete AppData\Roaming\uTorrent and re-adding torrents.

Every time µtorrent seeds/uploads big files (over a few GBs) over approximately 5MB/s it uses a few GB RAM.

1. How come µtorrent uses this much cache?

2. How can I limit this?

3. Can I set µtorrent to have a RAM limit?

the important parts:

100Mbit/100Mbit connection.

Windows 7 RTM

ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe

8GB RAM

Samsung SpinPoint F3 HD103SJ 32MB 1TB

the largest amount I've seen so far is 7.9GB of usage.

This last time the torrent was limited to 3MB/s up and still memory usage was 7.4GB

As soon as I stop a torrent that I suspect the RAM usage drops to low, about 1 GB or so (not sure).

an example how it is now, still growing in size

It doesn't really matter if µtorrent does this directly or indirectly, this wasn't meant as a bug report.

It was cry for help :D

Can I do anything?
