metalbeast Posted November 2, 2009 Report Share Posted November 2, 2009 Hello!I seriously do not know what to do!Have no firewall or antivirus installed...Windows firewall service is disabled.Tried clearing settings by delete AppData\Roaming\uTorrent and re-adding torrents.Every time µtorrent seeds/uploads big files (over a few GBs) over approximately 5MB/s it uses a few GB RAM.1. How come µtorrent uses this much cache?2. How can I limit this?3. metalbeast Posted November 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 the largest amount I've seen so far is 7.9GB of usage.This last time the torrent was limited to 3MB/s up and still memory usage was 7.4GBAs soon as I stop a torrent that I suspect the RAM usage drops to low, about 1 GB or so (not sure).an example how it is now, still growing in sizeIt doesn't really matter if µtorrent does this directly or indirectly, this wasn't meant as a bug report.It was cry for help Can I do anything?
