Switeck
I would imagine that crazy settings choices in uTorrent could cause that...What version of uTorrent you using? And what settings, as shown by CTRL+G and advanced settings? peayq
same here! version 1.8.3 and it only started happening after a few weeks of use. at first all torents started downloading immediately, then I noticed some delay before the downloading, when the progress bar just stayed red and the program stating zero seeds while there were actually dozens of them. and now it just sits there waiting until I restart the program. I'm on win7, static ip, open ports, all utorrent settings on defaults.
Random Goodman
Same. Uninstalled 1.8.4, re-installed 1.8.3 - all ok.
Switeck
"I'm on win7, static ip, open ports, all utorrent settings on defaults."But you don't have a default line. The settings are 3 to 20 times too high for your line...
peayq
I think it's 5 downloads and 8 total transfers max, and I never download more than 1 file at a time... don't seed that much too, so I think it's unlikely that I exceed any limits there. my line is 8000kbit/s. thegecko
I have exactly the same problem, it has started a week or two ago.I haven't changed any of my settings.
Switeck
peayq, as far as uTorrent is concerned, your line might be less than 800 kilobits/sec UPLOAD.50 connections per torrent is probably ok, but not having an upload speed max limit can be a real killer for the network connection. It couldn't stop torrents from starting in the first place though...it'd only cause trouble after they were already uploading quickly.thegecko, if your uTorrent settings haven't changed...something else probably has. DreadWingKnight
NO WONDER you're having problems8*50 = 400You're trying to run 400 peer connections on settings set that only allow for 100.
Switeck
peayq, you're telling uTorrent to upload at INFINITE speed. It is doubtful your networking or internet connection is suited to that...2nd link in my signature...you probably have 0.5 megabit/sec or less.
