Problem with download speed

Hi. I'm running MacOSX10.5 and have updated my µTorrent to 0.9.2

I've been using the Beta version since it became available on the Mac and it has always run great until now.

Now, when I run µTorrent, It sends my download speed to up to 500kb/s and sits there for about 10sec, then it drops and stays at around 3kb/s. I'm not sure why it's doing this. The network allows great speeds and I'm able to download at speeds of about 500kb/s...but when it comes to µTorrent....despite the torrent and the amount of peers...It does the aforementioned sequence.

Any help or insight on my issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
