How/where uTorrent save my torrents progress

Hi guys from uTorrent,

I couldn't find any topic about this, so I posted a new one.

My question is: how and where uTorrent save my torrents progress?

I'm asking this, because I got a problem. I want to reinstall my windows but I'm affraid of losing my download progress, because I couldn't find any "progress" file, where utorrent controls it to backup them and restart them later.

So, how do uTorrent knows my files progress? It saves in the registry? (don't tell me that!!!)

Back up the files in %appdata%\utorrent and all the incomplete files.

the resume.dat in %appdata%\uTorrent controls the current torrent list and their status. In any case, Do what ultima said and back up that folder. You might have to re-direct the torrents to a new location if you're planning on moving them around (for backup reasons or such).
