Achiron Posted November 7, 2009 Report Share Posted November 7, 2009 and i m not the only one it happens to. it happens with no reason, and it drives me nuts. is there a way to prevent this from happening? is there way to re-construct the resume file once it became corrupted? is there a way to make the utorrent make backup resume.dat file everytime? mawk Posted December 19, 2009 Report Share Posted December 19, 2009 I had the same exact problem. Go to the folder where the resume.dat and settings.dat files are located. Im running on Win7, so in my case I went to Appdate>Roaming>Utorrent. Find those files and delete them both. Be sure not to delete resume.dat.old or settings.dat.old. Then just start it back up and Utorrent should automatically fix the errors (check logger); make sure your also Running as an Administrator.
