addled315
hiIve been a utorrent user for a few years nowim currently running ver. 1.8.4 (build16688) on windows 7 ultimate 32bit with Kaspersky Internet Security 2010Huawei Quidway-WA1003A is my routereverything was running fine until a few weeks ago when utorrent started showing the yellow triangle (port not being forwarded)the download/uploads seemed to be unaffected but to be sure i checked the router to see if there was a problem. there wasnt i changed my port and then forwarded it in the router as per portforward.com. (followed instructions to the tee). This still yielded the same resultie that error message:Checking port 21545 on 59.93.204.229...An error has occurred! An error has occurred!Port 21545 does not appear to be open. Please see www.portforward.com for more information if you need to map a port. Please make absolutely sure that PeerGuardian 2 or Protowall is allowing utorrent.com (72.20.52.46) in either of those programs. Those of you using ipfilter.dat should make sure the list does not include the website's IP. After making sure of this, re-run this test by refreshing the page (F5). I also noticed an occassional green tick in utorrent (this came and went quite randomly ie sometimes on restarting utorrent and sometimes after a while)But as the down/uploads seemed to be fine I then (reluctantly) let it be.a few days ago all uploads/downloads suddenly stoppedtheres always a yellow triangle in the bottomport forwarding checks always give negative resultsive tried everything again (new port, kaspersky setings etc) with no luckplease help methanks in advanceregardsadips im a little noobish so id like to apologize in advance
Switeck
Remove all uTorrent entries in Kaspersky and let Kaspersky redetect whatever uTorrent version you're using now.
