neilfbu Posted November 16, 2009 Report Share Posted November 16, 2009 I set my port number to 50007 in v1.8.5 build 17091 in the Preferences setup, as I have done for years. This is the port number that is open in my router for utorrent. When I check that the port is open for connections, it's showing on the browser page 'Port 50008 is open and accepting connections.'Just changed the port several times and on each occasion it gets reported in the Speed Guide as 1 more. Firon Posted November 17, 2009 Report Share Posted November 17, 2009 This means that your router told uTorrent that 50007 was taken, so it auto-incremented the port and mapped it with UPnP.
