Switeck
I don't know what ISP to even guess whether it's hostile to its customers. There's a v1.8.5 stable, v2.0 beta, v2.1 alpha, and Mac uTorrent "latest" versions...so please be more specific. teniod
i have the same problem on my desktop...i think i've isolated it to a software upgrade... just dunnoe which one... did maintenance (Vista 64 ultimate updating, AVG updating) that day, tried thru the same router on my lappy (Win 7). Getting my normal speeds on the laptop but max out at 10kbps for the desktop... anyone can clue me in on what happened?

Switeck
So there's no hostile DLLs in uTorrent's exe space to blame for your problem.Unless it's windows itself causing the problem (one or more of those Microsoft DLL's!), I just don't know. Zido
I got about same problem as teniod my clients are like 8 (450) on my downloads, i used to have good upload speed from that site. my UL speed are jumping from 5kb to 15kb Did run a speed test and it says i got 9.42 DL / 9.56 UL so could it be that my ISP have blocked torrent downloading?thanks
Switeck
If your ISP is throttling BitTorrent, you might get better results doing this:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46778or this:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58714(NOTE: Those settings were a special case for a wireless ISP, so understand them before you try them!)
