I have not been able to download torrents because every time it starts to download, it gives me this error

I am not using is on any other program. I don't know what the problem is.

Thanks moogly. I tried checking the Enable option "append .!ut to incomplete files" in uT (General).

and the problem still persists. Although I never uninstalled Threatfire, I completely disabled it. Problem is still there. I might add that these are movie torrents that I'm attemting to download and not music.

I was getting this problem because of the windows indexer. Try stopping it or excluding the utorrent download directory. If that does not help, post the hjt log.

I am getting the same error. It only occurs on files that I am actively downloading. To get past it I have to continually check the file - if it is not downloading in uTorrent, I stop the file, then restart it. This works for what appears to be 5-10 minutes, and then it has to be done again to get it downloading.

If you need anything else from me just ask. I use uTorrent exclusively for my torrents and just love it.

Edit: I have disable the background Windows Indexing for my downloads folder - this had no effect on the error.

Edit: I've noticed that if I set the torrent to "forced download" it seemed to suffer far fewer and less frequent interruptions. The time span between being forced to restart the torrent was closer to a half hour or 45 minutes.
