ecarrier
Hey everyone, I'm really new to all of this, but I understand a good amount in order to download files. However, every time I run a torrent down at the bottom I always have the error message: Listen Error: You should change your listen port. Now i've tried just about everything that any website has said to do including portforward.com. Nothing has solved my problem. I'm pretty sure i followed the directions correctly, but maybe i'm missing something. Any ideas?I have a Belkin F6D4230 router along with Window's Vista. And i have my firewall off, so i know that can't be the problem.

GTHK
What firewall?
ecarrier
uh...the only firewall that i know of is Window's firewall, and that's disabled...other than that I do have AVG free edition, Spybot search and destroy, and CCleaner, and i don't think any of those are causing a problem
GTHK
Listen error is usually from another program using it or some sorta firewall blocking it.
ecarrier
Is there anything you suggest that I should check?
