Port blocked!

I've been using Utorrent for at least a year now and I've been fine with it because the port number I was using was open and so Utorrent was working great.

Today, I opened up Utorrent and the port number is blocked. I've tried putting in 0000 into the port number area when double clicking on the ! red mark at the bottom of the programme but its still got those ones blocked as well.

I've never forwarded my ports or anything because I'm with Orange wireless internet and the LiveBox router they gave me has never been put up on the site to help with port forwarding and all that jazz. So I've just been kind of stuck hoping for the best with the port numbers and such for a long time.

I've tried everything Utorrent can offer on speeds and like I said port forwarding but since I'm stuck with a router that isn't supported I'm kind of at a loss.

Is there something that I can do to get a port number working on my programme, without having to just put in 0000 every time and hope for the best.

BTW - My download speed is 1.04Mbps and Upload is 0.37Mbps (sad I know but I that's what you get for living in the countryside with no company putting their up to date stuff in)

Port 0000 is not allowed...try something above 10000 and below 65535.

Download a router manual...or google the problem till you find someone else with a solution.

384 kilobit/sec upload settings from 2nd link in my signature should work the best with your line...assuming you're getting the full upload. (otherwise use 320 kilobit/sec upload settings.)
