hermbagger Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 I added some RSS feeds and they have been working great for months. Suddenly, all of them are RED and not updating at all, for a few days already. I checked if the feeds themselves are still alive and they are all working when I check in another RSS feed browser. If I add a new feed it never updates either. Just tries until it times out and then goes red.Did anyone else have this problem?logger shows: [2009-12-11 13:41:35] RSS: Unable to download "top gear|http://feeds.feedburner.com/finalgeartorrents": connection closed by peerThis is the same for all RSS feeds that I subscribed to.Please help.
Switeck Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Sounds like it could be either:1.hostile networking software on your computer2.very hostile ISP3.bug in uTorrent(more than 1 answer may be correct!)
hermbagger Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 Must be something to do with Utorrent because the feeds can be viewed fine in IE. I tried to do a system restore to a time when I knew that it was working fine, and that did not resolve the problem.Any other ideas? Suggestions?
DreadWingKnight Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 What internet security software do you have installed?
hermbagger Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 Windows firewall and Avast home edition. With the antivirus software turned off, it's still the same results.Still not working, I also tried resetting the modem, router, and computer and still the problem is not resolved. I upgraded to 1.8.5 without any results. All RSS feeds can be easily viewed in IE. uTorrent is unable to load or update them because of the "connection closed by peer" error.Any other suggestions?
