welder Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 in the "early" versions it wasn't this... or it was below 6kB...now in the latest uTorrent 2.0 Beta (build 17539) it is - the problem is how can i get pass it...well lads the problem is this one: i have a dsl connection - dl 6mb, ul 512kb :|if i remove the ul limitation it gets around 600 (never seem more, my line max is 768kB) k, that's not a big of a deal BUT (no butts, just asses) if I limit my ul speed to 10kB the download gets capped at nearly 100kB.how can i get rid of this imposed limit eg: ul limit 10kB dl 600kB?or could the "makers" remove it? i think it's rather annoying than usefull.the port forwarding is good (the icon is green) (it doesn't have problems because antivirus/weather or any other stuff)thank you for your timeb- bit; B- byte
Switeck Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Try any of my settings from 384 kilobit/sec to 512 kilobit/sec upload max in 2nd link of my signature. If that works, then we can go from there...If not, 1st link in my signature...slow speed section.
welder Posted December 11, 2009 Author Report Posted December 11, 2009 u didin't understandi asked if i can evade the setting from ut - it's like a graph if u have set the upload limit to 10kB then ur download speed is max 100kB(limited bu uTorrent, not by my connection) if u set it to 15kB u have dl speed up to 150kB and so on...
Switeck Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 I'm trying to rule out if it happens under all conditions...or rather happens with reasonable uTorrent settings.
welder Posted December 11, 2009 Author Report Posted December 11, 2009 and as i said in the earlyer edition it wasn't this.. this limit so obvious, u got capped at a certain rate only if ur ul speed was <6kB or lower.in pre 2.0 versions i had ul speed set to 10kB and i could download with 600kB no problem, but now... my dl speed is at the mercy of ul speed so if i have anotehr application that's "sucking" let's say 50kB out of 64kB i can download from torrents with the astonishing and mind blowing speed of 140kB :|it's a very idiot/dumb "add" to uTorrent
