instead of seeding, torrents disappear from d/l list

so here's the deal. only lately i noticed something odd about downloads.

as soon as they are finished, they get filed nicely in my specified directory, and i can use them. BUT, the completed download listed in the utorrent program simply disappears from the list. generally i manually remove it when i'm done seeding, but recently the file just removes itself somehow.

any tips?

Ditto! I just updated to 1.8.5 - ran okay for a few days. Started up uTorrent yesterday and the screen is blank - zero files displayed where I should be showing over a thousand. All the .torrents are where they have always been and all the data files are still in the appropriate disk/directory. Now I have to add them all back manually?!? Any idea what would cause this? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated...

[bTW, I'm running XP Pro, SP3. AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ with 2GB RAM]

F7 doesn't seem to address the problem. at first that is. as soon as i stopped staring at it and clicked on 'all' ....bam, problem fixed. noob problem i bet. thank you!
