mlauzon Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 I get the following error when I check the log while in uTorrent, this is after I start downloading a file:Yet, I do not have NAT mapping disabled in the modem/router.Then uTorrent shows the following:So, why is it giving me the error as can be seen in the first image, but yet in the second image it's mapped it?
CyberShade Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 I am also having this error, what is the problem, does anyone know?
mlauzon Posted January 5, 2010 Author Report Posted January 5, 2010 So, you're experiencing the same thing, I wonder why it's doing this. Like I said in my OP NAT mapping is not disabled. I am still waiting on an answer, 137 views and no one answsers; what good is a "Troubleshooting" forum if people aren't going to help!
CyberShade Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 I agree, what good is this part of the forum if no one is going to help. I see there's been over 200 views now since you posted your reply to me, but yet no one from the so-called "community" has even answered, this does not impress me at all, at least if there was a problem like this in Vuze you'd end up getting an answer almost right away!
mlauzon Posted January 11, 2010 Author Report Posted January 11, 2010 The modem/router is an SMC SMCD3GN, I assume that if CyberShade is having the exact same problem I'm having, then he/she most likely has the same one, it's what Rogers Cable uses for High Speed Ultimate.
DreadWingKnight Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Very few routers outside of apple brand routers actually support nat-pmp.
mlauzon Posted January 11, 2010 Author Report Posted January 11, 2010 Be that as it may, you can see that in the first screencap it errors out, yet in the second one it has mapped it, and my SMC modem/router does in fact support NAT-PMP, as there is a setting for it.
DreadWingKnight Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 The error indicates that there might be misconfiguration in the router or improper support, since it's giving an error THEN working.Try switching from nat-pmp to UPnP instead and see how that handles.
moogly Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 So use UPnP to forward a port and disable NAT-PMP if it's bad supported.
