Internet Constantly Crashing

I keep having problems with my internet crashing while using uTorrent. I've run speed tests, and set my connection type to xx/2Mbit based off of these results:

Upload Connection is:: 2571 Kbps about 2.6 Mbps (tested with 5983 kB)

Upload Speed is:: 314 kB/s

Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (Main)

Test Time:: 2009/12/14 - 11:36pm

Bottom Line:: 45X faster than 56K 1MB Upload in 3.26 sec

Tested from a 5983 kB file and took 19.064 seconds to complete

Upload Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 87.25 % faster than the average for host (comcast.net)

Clearly, my internet isn't at fault. How come it keeps crashing? I had this same problem when I used Vuze. Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to fix this problem?
