Remote Add with File Selection?

I've tried a few adders and remote control tools, but I haven't found one yet that allows me to select what I want to download like utorrent does.

The only way I can do it is add the torrent and then skip the files I don't want.

Have I just missed a tool that does it? Or is that beyond what the WebUI can't do right now?

P.S. I haven't actually been able to add anything using the default WebUI add torrent option...nothing happens.

But from the screen shots I found it doesn't do what I want either.

It's beyond what the webui can do right now.

What you could do is enable "Don't start the download automatically". And then you add a torrent, goto the files tab and select which files to skip, and then start the torrent.

Yeah that's what I've been doing.

That initial window when adding is just so much nicer.

It actually lets you browse the directory structure rather than just a big list of files.

Well choosing WHERE to save the files is yet another matter which also is impossible atm. Likely because of the myriad of security considerations that are involved.

Actually, it is possible in 2.1. Check the WebUI preferences in the client. You can choose what directories are accessible in the WebUI. But the ui itself doesn't support using it yet.
