uTorrent 2.0 RC 2 - BSOD with Realtek and IPv6

Recommended Posts

Few of us have had issues with uTorrent triggering a BSOD related to tcpip6.sys, most of the time with a Realtek card. Firon's answer in this case is that this is generally due to a faulty card / driver. This is the good answer - as everyone can expect.

To me seems it was due to the RTL driver 5.736.0728.2009. I rolled back to an earlier version and the issue seems to have disappeared.

IPv6 would not be well handled with the most recent driver provided on the Gigabyte site (5.736.0728.2009).

Let me know if you agree, then we should report the issue to REALTEK directly.
