OK to defragment drive with incomplete torrents?

For maximum performance, I want to defragment my hard drive before installing a game (from the normal CD). However, I have incomplete downloads which are quite large. I want to move the large files to the end of the drive using my defrag utility (Defraggler) but I'm unsure if this will work with incomplete downloads. The files seem to take up their full space, but I know they're not complete. Will my defrag software move the download area to the end of the drive? Notice that I don't intend to run uTorrent while defragmenting: rather, I want to move the incomplete files like they're completed, and have them finish downloading in their new allocations at the end of the drive.

TL;DR- What happens if I change an incomplete torrent's location on the drive?
