sizzlemctwizzle
Perhaps this is a bug, but I'm not sure so I'm just going to call this a feature request. I've noticed that in version 0.9.2 when you try to quit µTorrent from the menu bar, µTorrrent doesn't actually quit, but instead continues running in the background. In fact, the only way you can quit µTorrent is by using Force Quit. Speaking as a Mac user this is not a desired behavior. To further clarify, if I close the µTorrent window I expect the program to continue running in the background, but if I quit µTorrent I expect the program to stop running. Ultima
How long are you waiting for it to close? µTorrent does cleanup on quit that can sometimes take upwards of more than just a few seconds.
sizzlemctwizzle
I've waited several minutes for it to close on occasion. Perhaps its somehow getting hung up? Maybe a bug in the clean up phase? I also have active torrents. I don't know if that helps any. I've even tried the alpha version and the problem persists. Ultima
Apparently, the shutdown hang is a known issue.
Firon
If you're downloading a torrent and the files aren't done allocating, the program will hang because OSX blocks until allocation completes. With very big files, this can take a while.
