tata668 Posted January 1, 2010 Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 I thought the default sorting was by "date added" in the webUI. But I just found this is true only until you restart utorrent! Once uTorrent is restarted, sorting defaults to alphabetical order.I can't believe people don't considere the possibility to sort by "date added" a crucial feature! At the moment, you have no way of knowing which are the last torrents you added to your list by looking at the webUI!Since the default sorting of the torrents is by date added (until you restart uTorrent), I guess uTorrent reads something to know how to sort the torrents this way, to know which torrents are the latest added. Is it a data file? If so, would it be possible to programmatically modify this file? I would create a script that would modify the file to sort the torrents by "date added" each time uTorrent is restarted. Do you think this would be possible?Thanks in advance for any help! This means that it has to be implemented by the devs in utorrent itself first before you or the community could change it to work like you want.
