utorrent lags on my pc

Hello, my pc is being unstable with utorrent. When i turn utorrent on and let my pc download/upload and i'm not working or playing or doing anything with it it just laaags... for example my ram usage comes from 1gb to 4gb (i have only 4gb, so its 100% ram usage). Same problem was on my old pc. Maybe someone could help me with this problem..?

O and my pc spec:

Intel P55 LGA1156

Intel® Core™ i5 750

4GB DDR3 1333Mhz

SEAGATE ST31000528AS 1TB 32MB 7200rpm SATAII

ASUS GF GTS250 DK PCIE 1GB DVI/VGA/HDMI

Preferences - advanced - disk cache

check both:

Disable Windows caching of disk writes

Disable Windows caching of disk reads
