Yenkaz
I have a 1024/256 network connection, which limits me to an upload speed of 22 Kb/s under speed settings. But i was wondering if changing the setting to 384 kb/s would hurt my download speed, since i normally can upload with a bit above 30 kb/s. Kazuaki Shimazaki
No one can really say. The Speed Guide stuff are only conservative recommendations intended to start you off. You really want the absolute best speeds, it is manual tuning.I would think that with the vagaries of BTing, don't expect to see noticeable changes unless your changes were huge. It is probably not worth the effort.
Yenkaz
From what i understand, the max upload also effects the max download, so that i can only download with 3x my max upload.3x 22 is 66.. and my max with 1024 is 256, so a max upload of 22 also lowers my download. Firon
No, the protocol has no such limitation. You can easily get more than 3x your max upload, it all depends on the upload speeds of everyone else in the swarm.
