Lepardi_ Posted January 10, 2010 Report Share Posted January 10, 2010 I had µTorrent running since last summer on Windows 7 64-bit, and after I formatted yesterday it started this. At first it ran nicely the whole day, and during the night it had frozen the screen.Now, it freezes in about 30 seconds after I try to download any torrents. I can put all the stress possible on this PC and it won't crash, but µTorrent is a magical button that freezes the screen forcing to a hard reboot. Ultima Posted January 11, 2010 Report Share Posted January 11, 2010 More likely µTorrent is the canary in the coal mine.a) get HijackThis from www.trendmicro.com, run it, view the log, and post the contents here get Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com, run it, Ctrl+D (to show the lower DLL pane), select the µTorrent process from the list, Ctrl+S (and save the list somewhere you'll find easily -- like the Desktop), then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
