jmh530 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I run utorrent 1.8.5 on Windows 7. Since I've used utorrent, I've had it set up for a seeding goal of 2, but I recently changed some settings and it's no longer working.I had changed the seeding goal and it defaulted to 1 (I have the time limit set to 0, for unlimited, this has not changed). I tried restarting and quitting, but I could not change it to 1.5, it would always go back to 1 when I exit the screen or quit. I can set the seeding goal to 2, but not 1.5, weird. More importantly, the torrent will not seed until the ratio has reached 1 or 2, it stops immediately after the torrent has finished downloading. The only thing that lets me keep seeding is if I change the time limit up to some number greater than zero. What I think has happened is that instead of previously only having the torrent stop seeding when I reach the target, it now looks at the 0 as the actually number of minutes you've been seeding (instead of unlimited). I'm not sure why this happened. Any ideas and how to fix it? I figure if there's no solution, I'll uninstall and reinstall, but that's always a bit of a pain when tweaking the settings.
Switeck Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Why would you want to put the seeding goal to 1.5% instead of 1% or 2%?Any of those are REALLY LOW!Perhaps you mean 150% instead of 100% or 200%?
jmh530 Posted January 15, 2010 Author Report Posted January 15, 2010 That's what I meant, the ratio goal would be 1 or 2, or 100% or 200%.
Switeck Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Then use 150 or 100 or 200 instead of 1, 1.5, and 2.
