gazbag Posted January 25, 2010 Report Share Posted January 25, 2010 I have just updated firefox but now when i click on a torrent to download nothing happens. before i updated firefox i used to click on a torrent and it would automatically start utorrent and load the file to download. i have been reading the help pages but it doesn't mean a lot to me. i am using utorrent 1.8.5 firefox 3.6 windows xp. many thanks. gary Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
moogly Posted January 25, 2010 Report Share Posted January 25, 2010 It's in the Applications panel of Firefox: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options+window+-+Applications+panelThen choose "Choose an application" to tell Firefox to open .torrent files with utorrent.exe. gazbag Posted January 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 25, 2010 "Associate with .torrent files" button is greyed out in the General section of the options.When i try the following(within Firefox) Tools -> Options -> Applications, remove TORRENT from the list and hit OK.i dont know how to remove TORRENT from the list.
