Version 1.6.1 Question

Hello everyone. Hope you are all doing well.

I am having 2 issues as of late, this started like 3 days ago and I just have not been able to figure it out.

I run Windows Xp Pro, have lost of free space on my hard drive and The U torrent version I run is 1.6.1

I never had issues with it before so I never upgraded.

Every time I try and download a new torrent, I almost always get this message

"Data Error: ( Cyclic redundancy check)"

Does anyone know what this means ??? And even more important how the Bleep do I get rid of it.
