bigbpdx
My copy of Windows somehow got corrupted and I ended up reformatting my hd then reinstalling everything from scratch last week. Fortunately, all of my torrents are on a USB connected external drive, so they are fine. Once I reinstalled the newest version of uTorrent I found that even though I pointed it to the same folder as before on my external drive, it would not recognize them and continue the downloading process. They have the same name and suffix as before, since I was using the same application (uTorrent) and even the same version as before, but won't resume any of the downloads. I read the info concerning similar problems that you have online here but that was for going from between uTorrent and a different torrent application, not like mine where everything is the same as before. Any suggestions on how I can get this to resume?
moogly
You have to relocate each incomplete torrent jobs (right click) and force a recheck. If the torrent is a single file, point to the containing folder. If the torrent is multifiles, point to the containing folder included in the torrent but not the containing folder with all your torrents.
