golgotha
I have read through the other articles around and been through to ensure my uTorrent has been set up correctly but it does not seem to have made much difference.I am connected to a torrent with ~23000 seeds of which I am connected to only 20. It started lower at 7 and over the last half an hour has gradually risen but before I have seen an almost instant connection to about 100 seeds and maximum download rates. My ports are all forwarded (I have a little green arrow) and I have been through a Speed Test to make sure I have that set up correctly. I am on the Sky (UK) ISP. Many thanks in advance.
DreadWingKnight
Why do you think that connecting to more seeds is actually going to help your speed? Why do you think that you even need to connect to one seed to be able to complete your download? golgotha
I'm not sure I understand....I do not have many connections therefore I am not getting my maximum download rate (I admit more seeds does not confirm this but such a large number would suggest). I am ticking over at 30kb/s, I have a 10mb connection.I'm not even sure what you're other statement means, apologies.
DreadWingKnight
The number of seeds you connect to doesn't dictate your speed. What setup guides have you followed?
Switeck
I am ticking over at 30kb/s, I have a 10mb connection. Are you uploading ok at the max rate you set?...If not, the upload speed limit may be set too high....Or there may be more severe connectivity problems.
