vtol
ethernet 30 Mb/s up/down, extended by Airport Extreme for Wlanclient runs WIN 7 Ultimate 64 bit with Intel 5300 AGN adapterEverytime using utorrent, 1.85 and up, the wlan would stall at any given time. Closing utorrent, reconnecting wlan would get the wlan back to work. Utorrent is the only application causing this, no other (file sharing) application would do.Have been trying lots of of different setup on the Intel Wlan adapter, on utorrent and on the Airport box but none with success.I reckon there is some malicious issue between utorrent and the Airport box, perhaps worth for the developer to have a look into the matter and iron it out. DreadWingKnight
Does the problem persist when you connect wired? What settings are you using?
vtol
nope, having the client wired directly on the ISP Ethernet works just peachy
Switeck
Wireless (especially wireless-g) may be unable to sustain >20 megabit/sec down and up.
vtol
hmm, about the setting, just been trying every recommendation from failsafe to adventurous and in various scenarios, but none solved the matter.of course, could still try another router or perhaps it is a matter of the Intel 5300 WLAN adapter, however no other application except utorrent is causing the distress
DreadWingKnight
What uTorrent configuration are you using? Also, we have some instances documented here of intel wireless drivers (especially on x64) not being up to snuff.

Firon
Airports are unreliable turds when it comes to torrenting. Had plenty of experience with this. The boxes crash pretty easily.
vtol
Switek gave me an idea. thanks mate! Switched off the 802.11n-mode on the Intel WLAN adapter and voilà everything is just peachy, no more chocked wlan.Though I am not an expert on 802.11 specs I find it rather Strange though. Switeck
Wireless-g often has far less than 20 mbit/sec usable under ordinary conditions.Wireless-n may also be if at range or there's considerable interference. Also, on some wireless cards/routers, WEP can consume up to 80% of available bandwidth. It sucks.I guess they're a little lacking on stable draft-n wireless support.
