Drag & Drop Files to Apps, Right Click -> Open With

Okay, these are my two huge annoyances with uTorrent, which I feel I've been dealing with for /years/.

1. Why can't I drag a file from the file view to an app? I might have a program associated with an mp3, but I want to open it with a different app, let me drag & drop to the app or icon on the desktop to open the file.

2. Right Click -> Open With

Does that need any more explanation?

I HOPE these get considered as features, they would really come in handy. At least for me.
