one800higgins
So I'm having almost no luck connecting through the WebUI since I updated to 2.0. Currently I have 2 bookmarks saved on my computer... I have a direct connect through the IP address and port for connecting while on my WIFI and I also have a public setup which runs through a DNS so that I can connect when I'm not home. After updating to 2.0 earlier I was able to connect via the public connection but not the local. Now I can't connect via either connection.Well, honestly I'm connecting... But it's not loading. The page title pulls the uTorrent logo and the title "uTorrent WebUI 0.361" along with the two line breaks with "loading" spinning in the middle of the page. So it's not like I'm having connection problems, but that uTorrent 2.0 is isn't loading the WebUI.Anyone else having this problem?
calvin_il
I have the same problem. tried logging into it from my own machine using localhost:<port>and also from the same machine I used before - and it doesn't work.
one800higgins
I've (sorta) gotten it to work. If I keep hitting refresh a bunch of times it eventually loads. It's like it's getting stuck in a process of some sort.

bugmenot2
I have the same problem.I cannot access WebUI after updating uTorrent to 2.0.Currently, every time I try to access WebUI, it will only show the "Loading" text, no matter how many times I tried, and even if I try to access it from local PC.Before, immediately after updating uTorrent to 2.0, the problem was I cannot add a new torrent via WebUI, no matter how many time I refresh the torrent I added didn't appear on the download list. Then, everytime I refresh the file list for each torrent, the file list will become blank. I had to refresh the whole WebUI page. Now, the problem is I cannot at all access WebUI, as it will only show "Loading" text no matter how long I wait.I've tried using Google Chrome and Firefox. Both has the same problem. My OS is Vista Business 32bit.I really appreciate any help. Thank you. Sorry for my English, I hope I was able to explain well. bugmenot2
What webui version are you using? Why haven't you updated to 0.370?I don't know which version. I always just auto update from uTorrent. Does it not include auto update for WebUI?As for not updating, I read the thread for 0.370 and it is written that it's untested and not stable. So I had my concern updating to that version.
DreadWingKnight
I don't know which version. I always just auto update from uTorrent. Does it not include auto update for WebUI?No it doesn't, and the version comes up in the title bar.As for not updating, I read the thread for 0.370 and it is written that it's untested and not stable. bugmenot2
No it doesn't, and the version comes up in the title bar.You are correct, I didn't realize because I am using Chrome and keep my tab to favicon only. I was using 0.361.0.361 (the version you likely have) is deprecated.I have updated to 0.370 but the file list for each torrent and the torrent properties usually at the bottom is not there. calvin_il
the only thing that did it for me was to change the username+password to something else.

Ultima
the only thing that did it for me was to change the username+password to something else.Except, that's impossible because Esc doesn't have anything to do with the password setting. calvin_il
I'm not trying to contradict anyone, just putting in my 2 cents - this is what worked for me.
Ultima
Apologies -- I misread your post. I'd thought you said that pressing Esc changed your password. If changing the password worked for you, then it might've simply been a browser caching issue somewhere. calvin_il
I tried deleting my cache, that was one of the first things I tried...
Ultima
Well, I don't know. All I know is that the login has nothing to do with what files µTorrent serves to the browser, so it should be completely inconsequential unless the browser itself was being stupid. one800higgins
I had to change my pass at first to even get it to the loading screen. But updating the WebUI fixed it all. The only thing I don't like now is that my layout of the WebUI resets to default every time I load it now. I don't remember precisely but I'm pretty sure that prior to the update it remembered my visual settings.
Ultima
Press Esc and see if it helps, because it definitely remembers settings on my end.
