The Wannabe
Hello,Ever since I upgraded to v2.0 a couple of days ago, the download speed became really really horrible, sometimes the speed is normal and all of the sudden it goes dead for a while then comes back up and starts all over again. There is nothing wrong with my connection, no firewall is blocking utorrent, everything is the same as before, the only thing that changed is upgrading utorrent to v2.0...I download from private trackers so usually I get super speed even if there was only a couple of seeds, the torrents I'm downloading right now have like 50 seeds and a couple of peers, so it just can't be. Greg Hazel
The Wannabe: Can you try setting bt.tcp_rate_control to false in the Advanced settings?
The Wannabe
It's not there, plus, windows 7 doesn't have the tcp limitation anymore.
Greg Hazel
I assure you it is there. Options > Preferences > Advanced > bt.tcp_rate_controlWindows 7 lifts the limit on halfopen TCP connections, which is controlled by net.max_halfopen. Firon
You aren't on 2.0 build 17920 if that setting is missing.
