peterwil0
Had major problems forwarding a port on an SMC router. The guys at PF dot com worked 2 weeks on it and finally got it fixed.Using the Speed checker pane for Checking Port it still reports port not forwardedHowever the Green icon on the bottom line reports NAT is good and port is forwarded.PF help desk rechecked and report the port is forwarded and I am D/L at approx 170kb/sec so it would seem that the Speed report is false??This may a problem with the router communication....it has proved to be a very difficult bit of hardware - possibly uTorrent can't "see" the open port !Peter

Firon
You can't just disable a firewall (unless it's the built-in Windows firewall). You can only uninstall it or reconfigure it correctly.
