HalcyonX
Okay, for the last month or so now, any time I download any torrent and the dialogue box asking what program you want to download the file with pops up, once I choose to open with uTorrent, the download freezes (or goes painfully slow) and wont even show up on uTorrent. I've tried switching internet connections, I've tried both fiddling with settings on some antispyware software and completely uninstalling it, I've tried re-downloading uTorrent, checking for any updates and nothing has worked. Recently, a message appeared calling the torrent an "invalid torrent" or something of the like, and I'm really not sure what it means. If this problem has been solved in any FAQ or whatever on the site I apologize as I'm not sure where to look. Any help is appreciated.
moogly
"Invalid torrent file" means the .torrent file you have downloaded is corrupt (at least its header, some HTML lines are included in the .torrent during the download). The culprit can be the web browser.Clean the browser cache and make a new try.If that doesn't work, use another web browser. It's often a temporary issue. HalcyonX
Okay I cleared the browser cache and it seemed to work at first, but now the same ish keeps happening. I select the torrent, open it with uTorrent, and the download of the torrent to uTorrent goes unbelievably slow. Does anyone know why this is? moogly
As I said, the .torrent is getting corrupy when you're downloading it.Try to open it with BEncode Editor, if you want: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306
