s3k Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Hi guys,Nice work on this, it works really nicely in all of the browsers I've tested it in so far.Are you considering access via mobile browsers?
Ultima Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 At the very least, there are plans for an iPhone version (it's currently in the works).
s3k Posted February 10, 2010 Author Report Posted February 10, 2010 Brilliant! I currently use the iPhone webUI thing that someone made, it's good but not great!Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, thanks!
brodie7838 Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 s3k,If you have the old WebUI set up for remote access (WebUI connect port forwarded in your router) and you have a JailBroken iPhone, check out the µMonitor app in Cydia.
sal Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 Logging into the Falcon beta web interface on an iPhone currently serves up an iPhone-friendly version, albeit a bit basic at the moment.
mavermc Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 Is there a way to force the iphone interface with a URL? I have opera mobile 10 beta 3 on my windows mobile phone and i'd like to use the interface, or would there be no point because it askes for multitouch to build the encryption?
brodie7838 Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 It does ask for multitouch to build the encryption.
bmj2728 Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 Hi everyone,I'm trying to access the falcon web interface through an iphone and have been unable to get any multitouch to register at the intitial url, and therefore cannot access the login screen. Is the iphone friendly page working? Thanks,
brodie7838 Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 Nope, not working for me either.Page loads but no response when two-finger-scrolling.
burepe Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 Same here. Two finger scroll will not register.
jknoll Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 We just officially released uTorrent Web for iPhone. Give it another try now. It will take a while to log in, so I recommend using "Stay Signed In"
duel007 Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 I just gave it a shot on my iPod Touch, it works well!
jknoll Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 Good to hear, duel007. We're looking at extending support to even more mobile devices, so stay tuned.
WhiZZ Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Err glad to hear the iPhone version is coming, but why don't just make it more general for all mobile device, both touch and non-touch? :/
jknoll Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 WhiZZ, like everything, it's a matter of return on engineering investment. We'll never support "all mobile devices," but we'll add support for other devices where the user demand and effort required combine to make sense. Our desktop browser support requirements already include WebKit browsers, so it's relatively easy to add support for WebKit-based mobile devices. Thus early iPhone and unofficial Android support.Do you have a particular mobile device in mind?
