migs87
After downloading utorrent 2.0 and using it for 5 min. my first BOD in windows 7 appeared. Windows 7 automatically rebooted and every time it would when utorrent was started, the same BOD would appear. After starting up in safe mode and removing the utorrent 2.0 software, Windows 7 finally started up normally again.I hereby would not recommend downloading 2.0 at all... Further specs of my laptop:Compaq 8510wI'm glad to help in getting more information on my specs, logs etc. if you want any!Just let me know.. DreadWingKnight
And did you happen to catch the BSOD?
migs87
I tried... disappeared very quickly.Had to do with: Driver_IRQL_not_less or equal, so maybe a driver interference with utorrent? Is it possibly to retrieve the BSOD in windows 7? DreadWingKnight
F-Secure firewall seems to not be able to handle the strain.
migs87
So does that mean it interferes with utorrent. Or is that just coincedence?I did delete utorrent and than it didnt BSOD'ed.
DreadWingKnight
Probably that it actively interferes.
Firon
The bug is with F-Secure's firewall, basically. It can't handle P2P traffic. See if there's a newer version, or use a different firewall. Complaining to F-secure's support would be a good idea in any case.
Erazmuz
I have the same laptop and have the same issue (BSOD with same message). I have no software firewalls installed and avast AV. DreadWingKnight
If you aren't getting the EXACT same BSOD (check with bluescreenview) then you do NOT have the same issue.

multio
Hello, I have problem with utorrent - BSOD on Windows 7.For some time i tried to figure it out what the broblem is, I read forums, etc.As I think (I not sure) it looks like the main reason is driver for wireless network (I saw message when guy used cable network and problem was "fixed"), as utorrent by itself should not cause BSOD (it is client problem or something like that), but I have this problem only with utorrent, why my browser do not cause this problem for example?I suggest that driver for wirelees driver HAS error, but utorrent "call" some situation , that "helps" driver to fail. Of course the main guilty guys are authors of "driver for wireless" network, but I think that utorrent authors could see if they also can do something about this problem.I will we very happy when BSOD will disappear from my life Thanks for attention.
