µtorrent (program, not download) works slowly

So, here's the deal. I downloaded the newest version from the autoupdater. After the update, my µtorrent has began to be very laggy, taking atleast one minute to pop it from taskbar to the front, and If I touch anything while it loads --> must wait another minute to load. µtorrent was acting perfectly just before the update, but now even downloads have been slowed down... Or, I have very bad seeders.

F-secure is surely to blame, similar issue seen recently.

Try to disable the web traffic scanning and see if uT still lags.

Ye, disabled F-secure and works perfectly. Now, what could I use for virus protection while I dl stuff?

You can try to set the F-Secure scanning module of web traffic (low level, disable DoS attack option etc). Have you visited their boards to ask some support?
