MonEl327 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 Hiya all, semi-newbie here. Just installed uTorrent 2.0 and haven't touched any of the settings yet. When I'm downloading in uTorrent, be it one or more files, my browsing slows to a crawl. Speeds in uTorrent seem to be ok though (although if I'm downloading 3 files, the speeds on each slow down). I've had this browsing problem for a while now with several older versions and have tried numerous solutions (tweaking the settings as found elsewhere in these forums) but none seem to really solve the problem. Here's my setup:Netgear router WGT624 v3Windows 7 Home PremiumCable connection (Time Warner)3.4 ghz, 4 gigs of mem3 comps on the network, browsing slows on all of themWhat's the first thing (setting) I should look at/change?Thanks in advance!Mon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've tried most of the things in both those links to no real avail. I was hoping someone with a similar prob/setup would see the question and I'd get a magic bullet answer of tweaking one or two settings that would clear it right up, instead of going through it all again just to end up right back where I started.
