Vexir
Hey guys. Quick question about functionality - my university resnet limits me to 3.5 GB in 2 hours or 10 GB in 24 hours, whichever comes first. If I let it go past this, I get a policy violation and my jack gets shut off >< I do like to let torrents run while im sleeping though. Is there a way to limit the total amount of bandwidth uTorrent uses in X amount of time according to those resnet rules? That includes upload and download both, I'm guessing, but I'm not sure on the details of the rules. Thanks!
Switeck
uTorrent has a scheduler and even a transfer cap limiter in v2.0.But on top of that do the math for how much you can upload in 24 hours if uTorrent is running the whole time. Figure in also that hidden overheads (TCP/IP networking packets) is at least 10% more than you can see.
