eb11 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Share Posted February 14, 2010 I don't understand a lot of the torrent stuff, but I am downloading 2 torrents. One has 2 seeds and 2 peers and the other has 0 seeds and 3 peers. The one with 2 seeds and 2 peers is very slow. The download time is currently 7.5 kb/s and the upload time is nothing. My other one with 0 seeds (it used to have a few) and 3 peers current has an upload time of 43 kb/s and download time of 34 kb/s. Please give me very easy instructions since I am not very good with torrents, but I need help trying to get faster upload/download times since the one torrent says it will take about 13 weeks to finish. I don't think my port is forwarded, but I tried to do it on portforward.com and couldn't figure it out once I got to my router's site. I did a speed test and it said that it was 592 kb/s upload and 4,600 kb/s download. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's the percentage of the torrent "seen" by uTorrent -- by combining the parts all peers/seeds have.So few connected peers and seeds may make things slow even if you have no problems on your end.You've got 592 kilobit/sec upload speed according to speed test/s, so don't choose higher than xx/512k from Speed Guide CTRL+G.If things still seem slow, try 1st link in my signature slow speed section.
