rforster
Help!My upload speeds are pathetic. I've upgraded to 2.0 and seem unable to get a consistent and lasting upload speed.Peers are connecting and getting 3 - 4 kB/s and then uploading stops very quickly, and even using the speed check facility makes no difference.I have an 8MB connection and can download at circa 700kB/s but today in 5 1/2 hours I've uploaded 8.2Mb.Can someone please give me some advice on this problem and how to overcome it.ThanksR
Switeck
Bad news:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46778You may see some help from 1st link in my signature, slow speed section....But more than likely it's just your insanely hostile ISP causing the slowness. rforster
If the speed issue was down to a hostile ISP, would this not affect download speeds?
Switeck
No, the ISP has control over the upload AND the download. They may throttle/disrupt based on time-of-day (peak evening hours in particular), how many connections you have at once, or even for more obscure and arbitrary reasons.
