Task manager Utorrent will not close

I've read loads of threads on the forums relating to similar issues but nothing seemed to match completely the problem that I'm having.

When I'm running Utorrent everything works fine. When I close the program it goes away and noo icon shows, but for some reason Utorrent.exe still runs in the task manager. Every time I reload Utorrent it creates a new process in task manager. Trying to manually close these results in the error "the operation could not be completed", "access is denied". Also, my hdd runs like crazy when no other programs are in use and utorrent is no longer downloading because it shouldn't be on!

I am not the kind of person who gets viruses / trojans so that is very unlikely. I am running Comodo Firewall, Avast Antivirus, Peer Block and Spybot S&D. Here is my Hijackthis log file if it interests anyone. I noticed that most of these issues relate to Zone Alarm but I have never installed this on this computer so shouldn't be a problem.

I have found out that guard32.dll is for Comodo.

dwm.exe is for Desktop Window Manager for Vista.
