dimedrl
I updated to 2.0 a few days ago, and almost immediately started to get blue screen crashes. utorrent also started using 90+% of my systems CPU power. I rolled back to 1.8.3 tonight and now utorrent and my system are stable again and utorrent's cpu usage has dropped back down to where it was. I'm not sure what it is, but there is something up with 2.0 "stable" that's making it less than stable.Edit : I'm using Win XP SP 3, fully updated and all my drivers are up to date. DreadWingKnight
What internet security software do you have installed?Have you used bluescreenview to see what the bluescreen actually is?
dimedrl
I'm using NAV 2010 for anti-virus with Zone Alarm for Firewall and Spybot as a defensive extra. And since the blue screens started with utorrent 2.0's installation, and ended with it's uninstallation and no other program was installed or uninstalled in between, there was no real point in running bluescreenview to check. dimedrl
Not gonna happen. I'm not uninstalling my firewall for utorrent 2.0. I'd rather use an older utorrent than leave my computer prone for attacks.
Switeck
Zone Alarm may make your computer more vulnerable to remote attacks ironically due to its own bugs.
