uTorrent crashes every day.

For the last week or so, my uTorrent has crashed every single day. Sometimes when I try to re-open it, it'll just crash again straight away, and it takes me seven or eight goes before I can use it properly.

Nothing has changed in the last few months, and it worked fine all that time. I don't think any other programs are conflicting with it: I looked at my task manager, and there are no unusual processes running. The only other applications open are Firefox, Thunderbird, Notepad++, xchat, and Pidgin.

It isn't an issue of being overloaded, as I only have 11 torrents loaded, and only 2 of those are downloading. Neither are particularly large (350 MB and 700 MB).

I upgraded from my 1.7.something version to the new 2.0 hoping it would fix it, but it behaves the same. I run Windows 7 Home Premium with nothing strange installed.

I have used verbose logging and log to file, but don't see anything unusual happening.

I did Google this, but it's kind of a vague problem, so if it's a long-ago-solved bug that I should already know about, I apologise. Can anyone help me out?

It's injected into µT. Maybe not the culprit but make a try and uninstall Volumouse to see if µT continues to crash.

I uninstalled Volumouse and rebooted, uTorrent crashed within two minutes of startup.

Funky. Is there any crash dump generated by µTorrent that you can send in? Does it still crash with a clean settings.dat and/or resume.dat? If not, please send us these files for observation.

No, I'm not using WebUI.

Yes, the crashes still happen with a fresh resume.dat and settings.dat. I totally erased the uTorrent folder (including %appdata%\utorrent) and installed a frseh copy, and it immediately crashed.

There are no crashdumps in C:\Program Files\uTorrent or %appdata%\uTorrent. I'm not sure where else to check.
