phirePHOX
.. also could µTorrent render unimaginable "sky scrapers" the answer is: YES!look How it could .. (down stairs)very interesting, while actually i'm rephrasing an earlier posted topic to make it easier for me to ask, and later .. know the answer .. so pls help me as you can.if you noticed in the 2nd. pic: seeds: 6(13) / Peers 46(1294) and ..the D/L speed jumps constantly up(side)down to 6.9 kB/sand that seems it will take ages to D\L.. the file completely!BUT WHY? when at the same µTorrent i D\Loaded another file that look like the 1st pic:seeds: 49(1903) / Peers 21(3362) the constant speed reached up to 90 kb/s for all of the download time (except on the last few seconds)my mind (if any! ..so far) can't believe any deference between both situations: so slow in the 2nd ..So Fast in 1st..your gracefully input would EVEN be more appreciated!!Thanks everyone.References:1st. pic2nd. pic
DreadWingKnight
And why is your upload speed so painfully low?
phirePHOX
**edited by user**it was NOT "painfully low" in the1st pic ..
DreadWingKnight
What your upload speed should be depends on what your connection is actually capable of.

DreadWingKnight
I'd say set your settings based on the chart from http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58404 using the 384kbit settingsThose "Not allowed" messages are normal for the particular torrents you're downloading. phirePHOX
**edited by user**i'm a very appreciative 2 u .. big bossbut why i have to keep "threading" back and forth to my 1st answer!!Let me suggest:is there any possibility for a different reply re:if you noticed in the 2nd. pic:seeds: 6(13) / Peers 46(1294) and ..the D/L speed jumps constantly up(side)down to 6.9 kB/sand that seems it will take ages to D\L.. the file completely!BUT WHY?when at the same µTorrent i D\Loaded another file that look like the 1st pic:seeds: 49(1903) / Peers 21(3362)the constant speed reached up to 90 kb/s for all of the download time (except on the last few seconds)
Switeck
Perhaps this is (vaguely) similar?:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=68694"60 second anomaly"
phirePHOX
Switeck: thanks a lot for sharing your input ..Re: Perhaps this is (vaguely) similar?: "forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=68694"The answer: it is (obviously) NOT similar @ ALLbecause i showed "upstairs" 2 screenshots for totally different situations.have a close look @ them for Comparison.and guess what!!finally i knew the cause for the slow situation, but unfortunately it's unsolvable.i should accept it "as is" until the whole D\L is over EVEN if take ages to complete it.Thanks again .. Bye for now
RobinRichard
I too had these speed fluctuations with 2.0... Upgrade to µTorrent Beta (2.0.1 build 18284)...
Switeck
Set bt.tcp_rate_control in Preferences, Advanced settings to FALSE.If that doesn't help, disable (uncheck) Bandwidth Management in Preferences, BitTorrent. (This disables uTP and automatic speed controls.)
