whatsa Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 I have about 20 torrents seeding and the max is set at 6.I noticed one of the torrents was using about 60% of the upload and thetorrent suddenly changed status to "queued seed" disconnecting the peersand my speed dropped to 40% (obviously) . I immediately changed the maxup/download torrents and the torrent went active again and the same peers reconnected. Is there a problem with the queueing and/or the selecting of active seeds?
Switeck Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 uTorrent has a strange seeding criteria...it may have "decided" other torrents needed seeding more, even if those torrents were unable to upload fast enough.
whatsa Posted February 19, 2010 Author Report Posted February 19, 2010 So...set my max at my active seeds and bypass the criteria?
Switeck Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Only if you've got a very fast upload speed as well as high global max connections relative per torrent max connections...or say hello to torrents failing to start.
